Dr Audrey Ng was born in Singapore and spent her childhood growing up in Perth. She studied for 6 years at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and graduated in 2000 with her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) before embarking on postgraduate training. 

She began the first three years of her medical career at Fremantle Hospital as a resident medical officer.  After progressing to an emergency medicine registrar, she was selected for a training position with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).  Upon successfully completing the 5 years training program and passing two sets of postgraduate exams, she was awarded the FANZCA fellowship and her specialist qualifications in 2009.  She is fully accredited at all the major private hospitals in Perth and she actively updates her knowledge and skills by participating in ANZCA's continuing professional development program. 

Her special interests include adult anaesthesia for complex spinal, orthopaedic, vascular, ophthalmic, gynaecological and urological surgery as well as all endoscopic procedures.   She also has a regular paediatric list with young children undergoing squint surgery.
